July 4th, 2012 Waredrobe Change

Evidently, you have a deep seated hatred for your onesies. It seems that today you have had it out for the first 3 outfits you have been put in.  This includes your “My First 4th” onesie!  I am glad we took pictures as soon as it was on.You do not seem to discriminate between simple white ones or colorful prints.  You are an equal opportunity soil-er. Not only vomit but #1 and #2 as well…

Maybe Vomit should be #3? Off to do laundry, again…

July 3rd, 2012 Bouncing, Jostling, and Vibrating

So basically anything that is not smooth and in motion is your friend, or at least holds your attention for a while. It may even help your digestion, although that hypothesis may backfire. Here is the thing, my arms can’t do this forever. Enter bouncy chair stage right.

This magical seat suspended from a bent wire frame has one D-size battery and a vibrating feature to make the whole chair shake–quietly! This motion, along with your own arm and leg flailing, gives you quite the ride.

Excuse me, I have to go change a diaper…

So while I doubt its a Volvo specific thing, you most definitely enjoy car rides.  Now that I think of it its not just a car thing, generally as long as you are being moved, jostled, walked with  your at least copacetic. I have heard of the car trick before, of parents on their last nerve putting the screaming baby in the back of the car and going for a ride.

With this little pearl of wisdom it becomes more clear to me why foreign oil is so important: without it there would be a lot more unhappy babies, and frazzled parents.

June 30th, 2012 Vomit in Vogue

I guess somewhere in baby prep school, (you know that prep school before birth), you had a course on when it is the most effective to let loose with a torrent of milk vomit.  I understand that sometimes you may swallow a bit too much at one time and need to get rid of a bit of it.  But! filling your car seat? Is that really necessary?  Could you at least give us a heads up?

“Yo Dad, Mom, here comes the tsunami!”

Just remember that… next time give us a shout out :-). Please?
